This is our love story:
We first met in Zurich in 2004, at a party of a common friend. Harry, in the throes of a divorce, was with a girlfriend. Ritze, in the midst of a staid relationship, was with her boyfriend. We didn't notice each other then--not that much, anyway.
As fate would have it, Ritze was invited by friends to a vacation in London, where Harry also was. It was a happy one. By the end of it, we were already in love, and it was difficult to leave each other at the airport.
And so Harry, an international civil servant based in Geneva, started visiting Ritze in Chur, where she worked at the department of justice and police bureau. Our love bloomed. To pursue it, Ritze decided to move to Geneva, where she readily found another job.
It has since been a partnership all the way.
Having settled in Geneva, we were invited to attend the Come to Jesus Fellowship by Harry's brother. We worship there up to now. Harry plans to be more actively involved in church planting in various countries near Switzerland.
To celebrate our union, we have held three weddings: one in Geneva on Septermber 23, 2007, a legal ceremony before that, and the third in Bohol on December 20, 2007.
